Student Technology & Equipment Policy
To ensure every student is prepared for a successful day of learning, please follow these daily guidelines regarding school-issued devices and personal belongings
1 Daily Essentials
Every student is expected to bring the following three items to school every day:
• School-Issued Device: Your laptop or tablet
• Device Charger: To ensure you can power up if needed during the day
• Clear Bookbag: For safety and easy identification of school materials
2 Battery & Charging
Learning time is valuable.
To make the most of our lessons:
• Devices must be fully charged at home each night
• Arriving with a dead battery prevents you from participating in digital activities immediately
3 Device Care & Safety
Our technology is a valuable tool that must be treated with respect:
• Keep the Case On: Protective cases are required at all times. Do not remove the device from its case for any reason
• Safe Placement: When not in use, devices should be placed on a desk or inside a book bag. Never place devices on the floor where they could be stepped on or tripped over
• Food & Drink: Keep all snacks and liquids away from your device to prevent accidental damage
Uniform Policy
Uniform Tops
Acceptable uniform tops are:
Baby blue polo shirt (long or short)
Navy blue polo shirt (long or short)
Yellow polo shirt (long or short)
Uniform Bottoms
Acceptable uniform bottoms are:
Navy blue shorts and pants
Khaki shorts and pants
Navy blue and Khaki skirts/skorts
Navy Blue and Khaki Jumpers
Uniform Policy
- Uniforms must be worn Monday through Thursday
- Gym shoes/ loafers/ flats are acceptable. Sandals, slides and flip flop are
- not uniform approved.
- Friday is Spirit Day. Students may wear a Perkerson t-shirt, a uniform shirt,
- or a college shirt and jeans ONLY on Fridays.
- Uniforms must be worn on all field trips, unless students are told otherwise.
